Autographed May 16, 1919 Uniform Transfer Agreement MLB of John P. Henry From the Boston Braves to the Boston Red Sox- Signed by Boston Braves President George Grant- NrEx typical folds/crs., Grant signature “Geo W Grant” 7/10 black fountain pen on bottom of agreement. I couldn’t find any other exemplars of Grant, but with the aging & toning, it is consistent with a fountain pen signature from almost a hundred years ago. Henry was a back-up catcher that the Red Sox would have sent $1,000 to the Braves if he made the team (he did not).
