1910 Philadelphia Athletics Champions Pin- Ex with some minor staining on the ribbon portion. Has a large pin at the top (Caldwell manufacturer)- 1-15/16” x 1-5/8”- a ribbon attached which says “Philadelphia Athletics Champion 1910”-(Measures 2-1/4” x 1-/1/2”)- and has a white elephant charm attached at the bottom- 1” x 1”. In 1910 , Connie Mack managed this team to 102 regular season wins- and a World Series win over the Chicago Cubs (4 games to 1). This was the first Philadelphia Athletics World Series Championship! The A’s were led by Eddie Collins, Chief Bender, Eddie Plank, Jack Coombs (won 31 games), Topsy Hartsel & Home Run Baker (hit 2 home runs that year). We have never had one of these before- and an online article said only 3 are known to exist. Definitely a rare piece of baseball history.
